Golden Foster Selected for Dublin

In Custard Cove, the winner is still sitting in the bakery.

Golden Foster came to the auditions with professional-grade equipment and years of flambéed experience. They won. The Crumbkins made them into something so beautiful it glowed, and then nobody could bring themselves to cut it. Someone suggested making a replica. The idea was dropped once they realized it would mean holding another, audition...

In October, the town takes its problem on the road. Golden Foster has been selected for the Animation program at the Dublin International Short Film & Music Festival, October 9-11.

I can't be there in person, so the festival asked for a video greeting. I'll be in the room on a screen, saying hello to Dublin before three minutes of bananas.

October 9 is also one year to the day since I finished the film. Life can be bananas.
