To my ugly, little love.

There are more than 30 characters in The Last Waltz. Designing each one has been a small thrill. Seeing each layer - voice, design and background - come together to build a complete picture of a character is satisfying work.

Sometimes a character design doesn't work out. The story goes in another direction, you realize a better version of the one you're working on or, or the universe hands you a grotesque little surprise.

This version of Druscilla Millenhoëffer looks like she lives under the stairs - which for about 3 hours was the case for keeping her! But alas, it wasn't mean to be.

First, she is a widow, which means someone had to have married her and well, you see the problem. Second, she has to deliver punch lines without becoming one and with every expression she makes it's... well you see the problem.
